Kimochis - Tools for Big Feelings

 Kimochis (K-2)

This 25 lesson series is a social-emotional curriculum that uses its cute character plushies to teach kids about emotions. Kimochi (KEY.MO.CHEE) means “feeling” in Japanese. Sometimes kids have strong feelings that can fuel challenging behaviors. Sometimes it’s hard to know how to communicate when you are in an emotional moment. Kimochis are a playful way to help children learn how to identify and express feelings, enhance their social skills, and problem solve. When kids can communicate their feelings effectively, they develop positive social skills that lead to lasting friendships and success in all aspects of life.
