Social Emotional Curriculum

 Kimochis (K-2)

This 25 lesson series is a social-emotional curriculum that uses its cute character plushies to teach kids about emotions. Kimochi (KEY.MO.CHEE) means “feeling” in Japanese. Sometimes kids have strong feelings that can fuel challenging behaviors. Sometimes it’s hard to know how to communicate when you are in an emotional moment. Kimochis are a playful way to help children learn how to identify and express feelings, enhance their social skills, and problem solve. When kids can communicate their feelings effectively, they develop positive social skills that lead to lasting friendships and success in all aspects of life.

Road To Success (Middle School)

This 8 lessons series is a social-emotional curriculum delivered each year that your child attends middle school. Every year they will focus on 4 new character traits. These traits are delivered by viewing vignettes that have real students tell real stories as they relate particular character qualities to the problems they were encountering. After viewing our students work on a personal reflection, then share out to have impactful student conversations. We strive to make good character something that our students think about every day!
